The Expo in Canada

Montreal '67

Expo '67 comprised "Man and his World". Montreal saw the fourth-best attended Expo in history after Shanghai 2010, Osaka 1970, and Paris 1900. Habitat 67, shown above, is a model community and housing complex designed by Israeli-Canadian architect Moshe Safdie.

Vancouver '86

Vancouver's Expo '86 was themed for communication and transportation. After the Expo, the monorail (above) was shipped to England where it was installed at the Alton Towers theme park. Today, Expo '86 remains the most recent Expo held in North America.

Toronto '25

The World Expo would benefit greatly from the rich culture that already exists in Toronto. We are home to many different people with many interesting things to share. Toronto currently runs a large number of summer festivals which would be tied into the festivities of the Expo.
